Most of the pages at HJL Collectibles have a header at the top of the page featuring the HJL Collectibles logo and, to the right, a row of icons representing the most often-used functions on our site. At any time you may click on the HJL Collectibles logo to return to the home page.

Click this icon at any time to view the contents of your shopping cart. If you have not been shopping yet, your cart will be empty.

Click this icon to log in to your customer account, or to create an account if you have not yet registered. While you are shopping, your shopping cart will be able to dynamically provide you with a shipping quote relative to your registered shipping address.

Click this icon to contact the HJL Collectibles support staff. You will receive a reply within 24 hours.

Your shopping cart contains the items you are considering for purchase as you shop around in our online store.

When you click on an order button anywhere on the site that item will be placed in your shopping cart and the shopping cart screen will be displayed. You may return to the previous page you were shopping at by clicking the button. You may update the quantities of items already in your shopping cart by changing the number next to the item description. To save the updated quantities you must click the button. To remove an item from your shopping cart, click the Remove link on the line item you wish to remove. When you are ready to place your order click the button.

You may view the contents of your shopping cart at any time by clicking the shopping cart icon at the top of any of the Eternity Comics & Collectibles pages.

If you are logged in to your customer account the shopping cart will dynamically provide you with a shipping quote for the selected merchandise relative to your registered shipping address.

Placing Your Order:

Click the button from the shopping cart screen when you are ready to order the items in your shopping cart.

The checkout process involves several steps which obtain the billing, shipping, and payment information for your order.

Login

If you are not already logged in to your customer account you will be prompted to do so at this time. If you have not yet created a customer account with us, you will need to do that at this time also. When you have completed the login, you will be returned to the checkout process.

Billing & Shipping Information (Step 1)

This step confirms your billing and shipping address and telephone number. If this information is incorrect you must update it here.

Insurance Option (Step 2)

Here you have the option to accept (for an additional charge) or decline insurance on your order.

Order Review (Step 3)

This step again displays your shopping cart along with your order total including sales tax, shipping, and optional insurance. If you decide you are not quite ready to order yet, click the button.

Method of Payment (Step 4)

Select the method of payment for your order. If you select the credit card option, you will need to enter your credit card details now.

Order Confirmation (Step 5)

Your final order review. Press to submit your order at this time.

Order Complete

When you submit your order the process is complete! You may print this page as your order invoice/receipt. You will receive a confirmation of your order via email.

Customer Account Maintenance Area
You can log into your account by clicking on the My Account icon at the top of the screen. Logging in will allow you to change your login name (email address), set e-mail preference, view past/current orders, change your password, and more account configuration options.

General Order Policies
HJL Collectibles cannot accept orders from minors under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13 a parent or legal guardian must place an order on your behalf. Their name/address must be provided for the billing information.

HJL Collectibles may, occasionally, limit quantities of certain products to insure that all collectors get a reasonably fair chance to order the product we offer.

We are required by the province of Ontario to collect retail sales tax for all orders that ship to an Ontario address.

Information for International Customers
HJL Collectibles welcomes international customers! We have years of experience in shipping packages internationally for buy, sell, and trade. Also, we have gone to great lengths to establish fair, low-cost international shipping prices that accurately reflect the size and weight of your order.

The ordering process is the same for international and domestic customers. Payment terms differ slightly, please see Payment Policies below. See Shipping Policies for information on how we will ship an international order.

If you are an international customer expecting to have your merchandise shipped to an address in the U.S. you still need to provide your correct home address and country in the billing contact portion of your address. Failure to do so will be construed as fraudulent misrepresentation and you may be forbidden from doing business with HJL Collectibles.

Additional notes regarding international shipments:

• Please note that, due to size restrictions on packages, we may not be able to ship multiple large items to certain countries unless those items are ordered separately. If you are an international customer considering the purchase of two or more very large items please contact us for special ordering instructions. We reserve the right to re-quote shipping & handling charges for large orders.

• At our discretion, we may elect not to send high-value and/or physically large shipments internationally unless they are paid for in advance with guaranteed funds (Canadian/U.S. cash, international money order, or money transfer/wire).

• Credit Card payment is no longer accepted from customers located in Mexico or the Philippines. At our discretion, other countries may be added to this list if fraud issues continue to present themselves.

• We reserve the right to request additional identification information before processing any order. If we require this information, we will contact you with additional details. If you do not provide the requested information, your order will be canceled and your account with us closed.

Payment Policy
All domestic (CAN) orders must be paid for no later than 15 days from the date the order was placed or the order will be canceled. International orders will be provided with additional time depending on the payment method used.

Individuals who routinely place orders then do not pay for them are subject to having their account suspended indefinitely.

Payment for orders may be made in several different ways. Payment method is selected during the checkout process. Discussed below are the different types of payments we accept and specific policies regarding each.

Credit Card

This is the recommended method for paying for a HJL Collectables Online order, and will achieve the best turnaround time for shipment.

We reserve the right to make additional inquiries or to hold shipment of an order if billing address or telephone number provided do not match what is on file with the credit card issuer, or for international cards.

At this time we accept Visa and MasterCard only via paypal.

PayPal

We accept PayPal payments. As our #1 payment method.

Money Order

We can accept money orders when they are made out in CAN$ and drawn on a International Money order form. Many international postal money orders meet these criteria making the money order an inexpensive way to pay for an international order.

We will not ship the order until we have received the money order in the mail.

Making payment by money order can delay shipment of your order for an additional 10 days (3-6 weeks for non Canada customers).

International customers can purchase international money orders in CAN funds at many locations including major banks in your home country, as well as large international banking organizations such as Western Union or Citibank.

Personal Check We can accept personal checks when they are written in CAN/U.S. funds.

We will not ship the order until we have received the check in the mail. Further, we reserve the right to hold shipment of an order until that check clears our bank.

Making payment by personal check can delay shipment of your order for an additional 7-14 business days.

Bad check writers will have their account charged a service fee of $45 per incident. We will submit bad checks multiple times to obtain payment. Note that this can incur service charges with your bank as high as $37.50 per incident if funds are not available when the check is presented for payment. Clearly, writing bad checks is an expensive (not to mention illegal) proposition and is strongly discouraged.

Wire Transfers

We will accept MoneyGram or Western Union money transfers if your order exceeds $50 in value. There are local MoneyGram and Western Union offices (or affiliate locations) in most countries throughout the world. Visit the afore-linked web sites to find a branch near you or to conveniently send money online.

We accept Visa/Mastercard Credit Cards either through Paypal(we can take AMEX or Discover through Paypal). If you purchase a gift certificate during a sale any returns or refunds are based on the actual cash amount you paid at the time of purchasing the gift certificate(s).
Pre Orders:
All Preorder Items are paid for at the time of ordering. If you would like to cancel your preorder your cancellation must be submitted within 1 week of your order. After that the preorder is yours! All cancellations on preorder or in stock items are subject to a 30% restock fee.
